Welcome to my online scrapbook, personal blog, and diary! I live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and on here I chronicle my life, events that happen around town, and any travels that I do to other places.

It takes about 4-6 hours to write each weekly post, sometimes longer, and many of the earlier blog posts have weekly sections that were culled at some point as the blog evolved. A new weekly post is usually released every Sunday morning, MDT. Unless I'm on holiday, then expect daily posts when I can. Check back often, or point your favourite RSS client here!
The ultimate goal of the blog is to have a place where I talk about my life's journey and how each individual part -- my migration from Singapore to Canada and growing up as a Canadian-Chinese, my depression, gender transition, and subsequent happiness, my jobs, games I've played, anime I've watched, friends I've had, and everything else -- influences me and ties up into one big package.
I consider myself a citizen archivist and historian, so I also hope to scan lots of random documents that I've collected over the ages as a digital archive of ephemera, for future historians to come across. My intended audience for the blog are readers 100-500 years from now or even beyond. Diaries are valuable windows to the past, and this desire to preserve the present and speak to the future is my life goal that drives me. I want this blog to be a historical primary source of life in the 2020s and beyond.
I do not generate any of the writing on this blog using AI, not even drafts or outlines. Any contextual AI use or reference is clearly labelled. Everything is strictly in my writing "voice" -- I love writing, and automating these posts would defeat their purpose. There are no current paid advertisements or affiliate links or anything of that sort on the site either. It would be nice to try sponsorships in the future, on my own terms, if that leads into a path that lets me write full-time, but I don't think I'm quite there yet.
