Dear Tigey,
I don’t want to have to pull so much lint off of you in real life.

No Memory Snippet or Song this week as things were crazy busy!
Something else that was crazy was that the air purifier that I ordered late last week, a WINIX 5520, wasn’t supposed to come in for 3 weeks or so (“July 19 – August 24”), according to its Amazon store page. They ignored that and sent it in 3 days anyway, so I ordered it on Jul 03 and it came on Jul 06. Well I’ll take that. Don’t mind if I do.
It’s a pretty nice unit, easy to set up and and very quiet to boot. It’s in my main room next to the computer table and the bed, and I see it go from blue (clean, pure air) to red (corruption abounds) now and then, like sometimes when I’m cooking for example. It’s connected to an app on my phone now too, although that part was optional, and it has a little vent up top where it blows out cool air that I think I can harness as a fan when I’m at the computer table, but haven’t really tried it out yet. It doesn’t work as a fan for my bed though.
WingBenny had insisted that I get one when I mentioned coughing and stuff back in May or June when smoke from forest fires blanketed our cities. Now the smoke is gone, but this is probably still a good thing to have overall, and maybe it’s just placebo so far but I haven’t had a sneezing fit while at the computer all week. I’m not certain I need to keep it running all the time, even though it’s just on automatic mode and on low fan settings most of the time, but we’ll see. I’m also happy to announce that I put Tigey in front of the fan sensor and the light didn’t turn red. This time.
I got to call the cops on Friday night, or rather on Saturday morning at about 3 am, to report (to the non-emergency line) a red van downstairs in the parking lot whose car alarm had been going off for over an hour. The lady on the other side of the line was very pleasant. Unlike the car alarm. She said she’d see if she could dispatch any nearby cops in the area to check out who owns the car via its plate and try to contact them, but it was 3 am and so I went to bed without waiting to see how it ended. This car also had gone off at 6 pm the evening before for a long spell, just before I left for the night markets, and also the next morning at about 10 am.
That’s the perpetrator! Someone else had stuck a note to the back of his car, I believe this was done after the 6 pm alarm (since it was already there by the time I started staring daggers at it at 2 am), so obviously I’m not the only one that was very irritated with him. I watched him take off the note and read it, get into the car, then open the front trunk and fiddle around with something in the guts of the car. Hopefully that fixed it. It didn’t go off on Saturday that I know of at least. Car license plate BGD-1947, just for a little extra internet shame. This is why I need to move away from huge apartment complexes.
I ordered grocery delivery for the second time ever early this week, and just like the first time, it was from from T&T Supermarket. The reason for this is that they were having a $59 or higher = free delivery promotion again, and because among other things I needed potatoes and wanted to try a bunch of other things but did not want the hassle of actually carrying them home. It worked fine, although they ended up cancelling my tofu order and not replacing it with anything else, which I guess is one of the bad things about online grocery shopping — you’re at the mercy of the staff when they decide they cannot fulfil your order. Hopefully you didn’t really need that item cause you won’t have the chance to substitute it with something else!
The delivery itself was also late — I asked for it to arrive during a 3-6 pm time slot on Monday, so that it would get here before my 6 pm to 9 pm daily stream started, but instead it only arrived at 7:30 pm and the delivery person couldn’t even find my lobby and had to call it for me, so I had to take a weird intermission during my stream to go down and get it.
And on the way back up, right as I was stepping through my front door, the bottom of the box burst open, sending the groceries spilling out all over the ground! Half of it in my apartment, half just outside the threshold of my apartment. Thankfully the stuff inside were all in their own individual bags too, and nothing was bruised other than a little bit of pride. I did get a good amount of loot, between the potatoes, carrot, radishes, lotus root, lychees that were on deep sale, king oyster mushrooms, a couple types of Chinese vegetables, some instant noodles, a lot of fishballs, and black sesame ice cream, which is a very interesting flavour that I had not tried yet up until this week.
The stuff smells so nice and the soup I made midweek with some of those ingredients was heavenly. And the russet potatoes were so much better looking (and easier to peel, and I think tastier too, though that could be a trickle-down effect from the other ingredients) than the ones from Safeway, although they were priced slightly more expensive than the bulk Safeway russet potato packs and slightly cheaper than single Safeway bags and any other sort of bulk potato packs that Safeway offers. I didn’t know potatoes could even be fragrant. Also, king oyster mushrooms in soup are amazing.
I went to various stores this week while in Southgate, looking for a specific type of chocolate, Neilson Jersey Milk, that I had never have before but that Jah had informed us was being discontinued (local). He said I should go try to find them if possible, and I agreed. An hour and change later, I was forced to conclude that Southgate Mall truly no longer had them in stock, however the closest I had come was in London Drugs, where I found this empty box:
Ah, so close. But the box didn’t even have a price tag attached to it anymore, and the chocolate bar in it was from the box to the right, so. Oh well. Not that I ever eat chocolate bars. I did take the box as a keepsake, though. And bought something else from there instead, maybe. To continue the theme of weird, local, time-limited foods, I also did see and buy this this week:
Maple leaf-shaped pasta from Catelli. How weird. Sure. Why not. I bought one and will flatten and keep that box somewhere afterwards.
As portended in last week’s blog, I went out to a third participating location for the Downtown YEG Burgerfest event this week, on Monday. All three locations I visited were very different — the first place I had gone to was a restaurant with pub vibes, the second one was a restaurant with eatery vibes. This one was called Let’s Smash Burger and Shakes, and very much had fast food restaurant vibes.
It seemed like they only had kitchen staff and if there were people waiting at the counter, someone would come in from the counter after a minute or so and wait on them. And even though it was still in the event period, the employee who eventually came up was at first confused as to what Burgerfest I was referring to, and then after I showed him the picture of the thing on Instagram, he said that ah, that burger was just a normal BFF Smash burger that was listed on their menu already:
And that it wasn’t $10, but it wasn’t the $11.95 listed on that sheet instead, it was in between — $10.95. What nonsense! I was confused at first and started comparing the ingredients, but yeah it was the same thing — the description of the burger on the Instagram listing for this place’s burger was a “Double Lakeside Dairy wagyu patty, mayo, ketchup, Cheddar cheese, red onion, tomatoes, lettuce and B&B pickles”. Basically the same thing. I had half a mind to walk out anyway since it wasn’t the advertised $10 though, and try an interesting burger and salad thing from a couple of stores away, but I decided to stay and try it.
And honestly I’m happy I did, the burger actually tasted pretty darn good in the end:
What I will remember the store for in the end though is that just before I left, I asked the server if I could wash my hands at a sink in the washrooms in the back because burger-eating was messy and left my hands oily. He instead said that I could use the sink that you can see in the second picture of the restaurant above, the one facing the order counter and kitchen. There’s a sink behind the right side of the metal food counter there, behind the Reese’s boxes. So that was cool of them. I appreciated that, doused my hands there, and then left the restaurant fairly satisfied.
I had a couple of stops on the way home from this place, and one of them was to go back to the first restaurant that I had visited last week, Jack’s Burger Shack, and take a picture of the outside of the shop. I had forgotten to do that, and when I noticed I was near, I snapped the picture.
I’m gonna slip that into last week’s blog post as well, belatedly, as well as Jul 06’s dream, which I had forgotten to add in.
After that, I walked down to Churchill Square to catch the train home from there. While there, there was an event called the Edmonton International Street Performers Festival (local) going on, so I stopped by that briefly as well. This is one of our city’s actual “legitimate” festivals and runs for 10 days this year.
I knew from checking the website that there was someone doing caricatures here, and I quickly found him as well:
His name was Simon (@caricatures_bysimon or @caricaturesbysimon, he seems to own both) and he did up a nice one for my Tigey collection:
Very nice! He’s the first one to attempt drawing the bag that Tigey was seated on too. He had drawn it on a full sheet of paper, so when I got home, I cut it out inexpertly and slotted it into a plastic sleeve, and then put that into the book sleeve with the other three drawings of Tigey that I have collected thus far. Item get!
On Friday evening, I skipped the usual nightly Twitch stream and went hunting for night markets in Edmonton again. I was visiting two this time, one in Central Edmonton and one in Western Edmonton. The transit loop itself from the transit centre nearest my house, to the first one, then to the second one, then back home, including waiting time took over three hours. I mean, I left the house a little after 6 pm and returned home a little after 10 pm, and I only stayed at each place for about half an hour. Yay Edmonton’s world-class transit! Yay……. and also, a woman handed me a Jesus pamphlet while I was waiting for a bus on the way to the first night market. That will get scanned and uploaded onto archive.org at some point.
Anyway. These were actually two decent night markets, compared to most of the other ones I’ve been to in Edmonton. They were both outdoors, for starters, and in the evenings. And consisted of more than 7 tables. That already puts them well ahead of the curve up here. The first one I visited was The Grand Night Market (local). It looks like they move around the city, which is cool. This week they were at an area called West Block Glenora, which has a really nice name by the way. It was surrounded by construction though:
The night market itself was hidden in a little chic shopping area behind the construction though. It wasn’t that big, with about 30-35 stalls in all, but it wasn’t bad and had lots of vibes.
I ordered dinner from this food truck, Flipside BBQ, and the specific dish I ordered was their Flip Belly, for $17.88, $18.77 after tax.
Was this worth $18.77?
The pickled papaya was not as interesting as it sounded, however the pork belly itself was actually really nice. I had dinner in a little attached patio area that was next to the outdoor market and outside a nice little book cafe. This place was actually really grand, minus the housefly buzzing around my food.
After chilling out for a bit and watching some kids play Red Light Green Light, I left the area and headed to the second flea market. This one was called the Callingwood Night Market (local). Both of them seem to be sponsored by actual farmers’ markets, which explains where they get the vendor power from. I’ve never been to the Callingwood one though, and I’m not sure if I’ve been to the other one, 124 Farmer’s Market, recently.
The Callingwood one was located in a neat-looking shopping area, except for the fact that the buildings all face outdoors. C’mon guys, Edmonton is winter for 6 months of the year, stop with the stupid outdoor malls.
This outdoor night market was a lot bigger, with about 75-80 stalls or so in all.
They had a healthy variety of stalls too. And some really uh, niche ones, like this cribbage stall. I’ve been to so many makers’ fairs and craft fairs and markets this year and have never seen a stall dedicated to just cribbage. Until now.
How cool. I wish I had more disposable money. I did not end up buying anything from this market, though I was tempted.
On Saturday, it was Community Day in Pikmin Bloom (local), my walking app of choice, which meant that I could earn a meaningless badge for walking 10,000 steps that day. I had a couple of things on the menu today, the first thing being the annual Japanese summer festival being held by our city’s Japanese Association (EJCA), called Natsu Matsuri (local). So to get in my steps, I decided to walk all the way there from my apartment, which was a 1 hour 15 minute walk across 5 km of roadside pavement. The sun was hot, although I kept to the shade and had water to keep my hydrated. I did see a pretty large car wash on the way there that reminded me of a toll bridge or country border, and wished that I could go stand under one of the hoses to get sprayed.
The other interesting thing I ran across on the way was a little “festival” event that I didn’t know about. This was at Hazeldean Community League, and I was elated to randomly stumble across it, even if I didn’t really have time to stop by and give the stalls a good shake.
This event was called RPG-A-THON (local), and as far as I can tell was an event where people could pay $40 and join an inside area where they could sample a bunch of tabletop games. Or just walk around the vendors outside for free, which is what I did. Also, happy 10 year anniversary to the Amundsons!
There were about 20 vendors in the outside area, spanning things like clothing, art prints, and various other crafts. There was even a booth selling board games there.
I only stayed for a few minutes before hurrying on though, as I was pressed for time. A bit further along, I reached the Argyll Community League, where the EJCA Natsu Matsuri event was being held. Unlike previous years, I had to pre-register for this one even though it was free, and they gave me a little inked star on the back of my hand after confirming my registration, before allowing me into the venue.
Despite the pre-registration stuff, it was still insanely crowded. This is a good thing for the health of the event though, although their venue was a little small for it for sure, even counting the outdoor area. It was exactly as crowded as I remember the last time I went as well, back in 2019. Maybe a little bit more so. But perhaps that’s because I arrived at the very start of the event.
I sadly only had about 20 minutes to spend here, but that was still enough time to go around all the stalls twice:
I had also pre-ordered some food here, a bento both with two inarizushi, and two futomaki from one of the EJCA subgroups called Matsu no Kai.
I picked it up from a side window and saw that there was only a list of about maybe 20 people or so that preordered that. It cost $7. Was it worth $7? The inarizushi, the rice wrapped in the brown tofu pouches on the left, tasted a bit weird to me, but likely because I’m not used to whatever they put in it.
I was hoping to see Shinya, or maybe one of my Japanese teachers, there at the event, but I did not manage to see them, nor did I stay for any of the demonstrations, this year, as I left soon after eating that.
The reason that I only had a limited time here was that I had an open house to attend with my siblings and Dad about an hour or so away, and this was scheduled at 2:30 pm for that was the only time that all of us could attend within the time window of the open house period, so I had to leave the event at 1:30 pm in order to reach there on time. The house was pretty good, and the family unit seemed to like it. It was a little on the expensive side though, but it does also come with an air-conditioning unit built in. I might put in an offer on it.
But we took no pictures of it, at least none that I want to share, so in lieu of that, here’s an interesting poster in Southgate Mall:
And Dulux’s official petition (local) to change “Fip red” to something else. Fun, but I don’t want to subscribe to their newsletter just to vote on this.
I had a regret about this visit though, which is that on the way out, I gave Dad and my siblings a package that I had ordered from Amazon on their behalf since I had Amazon Prime for the Amazon Prime Day event that went on this month. However, I also had Tigey with me, and I was going to visit them the next day, on Sunday, anyway. I could have given them Tigey as well and let him stay with them overnight. I failed to do this and regretted it a little afterwards when I thought about it. Oh well, at least that meant I got to sleep with Tigey as per usual tonight.
Games
On stream this week, I bought, started, and finished Strange Horticulture, which was pretty neat. I played the Strange Antiquities demo during the last Steam Next Fest, so I wanted to go back and play this one before that game releases. I like the mystical feeling behind the world that the game built and the exploration and light puzzle solving that they make you do.
I also had a filler day after playing and finishing that, so I tried playing The Norwood Suite, another game which I was interested in due to a later game demo that I played from the same dev, in this case Moves of the Diamond Hand. Despite this game having overwhelmingly positive reviews though, I had lots of issues with memory leaks and crashes and the save state not saving correctly when I tried to save the game. It was very weird. I couldn’t even finish it in the end due to the bugs, although the stylized, almost surreal atmosphere of the game was cool to walk around in.
Off stream, I again mostly played Backpack Battles and Umamusume: Pretty Derby for the early part of the week. I only had two grindy achievements and one trivial one for the former game left, and two grindy achievements for the latter game. Both are still quite fun, though I’ve cut back my time in both.
The Steam sale also ended this week, and before it ended I picked up the following games: Strange Horticulture as mentioned above, Potion Craft: Alchemist Simulator which came in a package with that game, The Merchant’s Guide to the Kingdom, Sid Meier’s Civilization® VI Anthology for the $5 or so of DLC that I did not have yet to complete my set, Cozy Keep: Farm, Craft, Manage, Ale & Tale Tavern which came in a package with that game (apparently this game is in several dozen different two-game package deals), Card Survival: Tropical Island, Blue Prince, and two DLC, one for Cyberpunk 2077 and one for Esports Godfather.
I’ve dabbled in a few of them but not all yet, but I hope to try them all out at least a little over the next couple of weeks before seeing which ones stick.
Plushie of the Week #191
While at London Drugs looking for the mystical chocolate bar that I talked about further up in the Life section. I noticed that yet again, London Drugs was having a 40% off sale on their Squishmallows. I have quite a few of the 8-inch ones already at this point, but I do like them, especially the ones that riff off of food products, and I found this one remaining plushie of its type while I was rifling through the shelves. So I rescued it.
Meet Ansel! He’s apparently an open potato chip bag (local)… alright then. His wiki page says that he only comes in 7.5 inch and 12 inch sizes, but honestly I can’t really tell the difference between the 7.5 inch ones and the 8 inch ones anyway, and neither can my ruler since the ruler measurements say 8 inches all around. I try not to put much stock in the wiki anyway since, for example, according to them, the 8 inch (or 7.5 inch) Opal doesn’t even exist, whereas I very much have one.
For the record books, Ansel was purchased (thus, birthday) on July 08 2025. He cost $8.99 CAD before tax, $9.44 after. His prison mugshots.. er forever home pictures are as follows:

Jul 07 2025
- Snippet: There was a scene at a 4-way road interesction where I was standing on one side and an opponent was standing on another side, and a game took place which involved grouping up people on our side of the traffic crossing into groups, and then assigned items that did damage or had other game effects to them. Once the light turned green, the groups of people then carried the items across the intersection to the opposing side as the battle resolved.
- Snippet: There was another scene where I was in a room with several other people and we were staying away from the door and external windows because people were looking for us. I realized that one of the other people I was with streamed from this location, which was his office, as well, and was fairly popular, so it was possible that people had figured out where we were by figuring out the location of the room via context clues from his stream.
Jul 08 2025
- I remember a Backpack Battles style game wrapped in a horse race game, with the Backpack Battles segment where my inventory pitted off against opponent jockeys’ inventories in different rounds and that drove the horse segment onwards. In particular, I remember discovering a quirk of the game and not being sure whether it was a bug or not nor if any other player knew about it. Buffs acquired in the inventory management portion transferred to the horse and vice versa when I started a new round, so I discovered that I could essentially transfer buffs from one fight to the next using the horse as a conduit.
- Snippet: I also remember sitting next to a bathtub, which was in a room that was not in a bathroom. There was a screw head lodged into the outside of the tub and I spun it round for a little bit trying to fix it, but it could not be pulled out or tightened in.
Jul 09 2025
- I was in a classroom participating in a game night with some friends. It was led by two teachers, one male and one female, and there were about ten students participating, some from my Dunman High days. I don’t remember the first couple games we played, but I do remember that in an intermission between games, I ran out of the classroom and toward my dorm room, which was a locked door facing the corridor which opened up into a room with a single king-sized bed in it.
- There was a pile of stuff on the bed, and although I was already wearing glasses, I tried looking around my bed for a specific pair of spectacles that were “higher tech” than the one I was wearing. I did find a spectacle case, but when I opened it it contained a really old pair that I hadn’t used in years, so I put it back down.
- Paul had also used the intermission break to leave the classroom and do something, and I heard him running back past my door and toward the classroom as I was rummaging around. I took a bit longer to pack up my backpack, noting how it seemed to be full of empty perfume boxes and wondering if maybe the glasses I was looking for were already in the bag somewhere, before heading back to the classroom.
- Once I reached the classroom I found that the next game had already started. The participating players were up in front of the room, facing each other in pairs, although one person was facing the female teacher instead since I wasn’t there to start. I went to my seat to put down my bag then asked if I could still join but they ignored me.
- After the first round of the game was over, I asked one of the students to explain the rules to me and he said that we had to secretly write a number on a card, and then compare it to the student across from us to see who had the higher number written down. The higher number won the duel, and each round was made up of a number of those duels.
- I asked why people didn’t just put a 9, the highest allowable number, every round, and he said that the total of the numbers we wrote down could not exceed an energy pool, and that pool was determined by the amount of blood that you donated or were willing to sacrifice through a needle sticking out of your arm and leading to the papers. I decided to pass on playing this specific game.
- Snippet: Later, there was a dream where I was driving a spaceship in a game where I could easily fly between many planets in a cartoonized universe. I visited a planet which had recently been ravaged by toxic storms, and noticed that there was a timer ticking as to how long the spaceship could last in the planet’s atmosphere before being destroyed. It was a fairly long timer so I decided to continue my travel there anyway, and I visited a shop that was set up in the middle of the wilderness in the open world, which unlocked the shop in a travel log for me, and then visited the main village on the planet, which also unlocked a shop in that village for me. Then I left the planet, well before my timer got low.
- Snippet: I also remember a very vague scene earlier on where I was pushing a cart full of flattened cardboard boxes. I don’t remember any other context behind this event.

Dream 1
- I was going to meet with Dad south of the University for a ride somewhere in his van. I was on a bus and technically on my way there, but the bus I was on wasn’t going to the university, just near it. I had a couple of options, but my usual route was to take the bus a little further south and then take another bus back once I reached a transit hub. This would have taken longer but was warmer, which was good since it was winter.
- However, I texted Dad as I was passing the University area and found out that he was already just five minutes from arriving. So I rang the bus bell and packed up my bags to try to disembark at the bus stop nearest to the pick up point. I initially didn’t pack up in time, so the bus doors closed and the bus was going to move off, but I asked the driver to wait a second and managed to grab all my stuff and disembark.
- Once I got off, I checked the local map on my phone. I had to walk 2 streets north, 2 streets east, and then another street north to reach where Dad was. I passed by a small convenience store along the way. The shop looked small but next to it was a large window display filled with all kinds of ice cream products. I thought it was a weird product to heavily advertise since it was winter, but two customers were coming out of the shop with ice cream as I passed it anyway.
- When I met Dad, he was rather upset, and I learnt that he had argued with a cop after he had arrived and the cop had issued him five misdemeanor tickets for unfair things, which would wipe out the $150 of savings that he had recently managed to scrounge together. I told him that it was too bad but at least he got to keep his experience points, but also that it probably wasn’t worth the effort in general to try to fight corruption on its own turf.
- We went off to his van and drove to a concert hall somewhere to watch a play. We were on a lower area in a hall while performances were happening on a raised stage at the front of the hall. Things started well enough but I noticed that there were four people up on the right side of the stage, seated on chairs that faced left across the expanse of the stage. They looked like a musical band as they had musical instruments in their hands, but they did not seem to be scheduled to playing anything. More worryingly, they were also being punished by getting electrical shocks every now and then if they weren’t paying attention.
- However, in a break ikn the performances, they managed to pull free some electrode pads that were attached to them and that were linked to the device that was being used by a watcher down below in the crowd to electrocute them. They tossed it off the stage and quickly told the right half of the crowd what had happened as security rushed over to suppress them and get them under control again.
- The left side of the audience did not hear any of this commotion. We were in the middle and did hear them, as well as the fact that half the audience had no idea what had happened, and wondered what we could do to support them. We contemplated requesting a song from the next act, a radio DJ coming up on stage, and maybe include an extra line with all the initials of the trapped members in the chorus or something.
- Snippet: A little later the scene shifted to a train where I was in the carriage with other people I knew and I was seated on the floor. An AMQ style game was going on over the loudspeakers and I successfully guessed the first song that was played over the speakers.
Dream 2
- Later on in a different dream, I was picked up by the family van on the way to another concert. This time, my parents were in the front seats of the van, with Jon as a kid in the middle row, and Kel as a teenager plus an unknown boy who was supposedly Kel‘s boyfriend in the back row. Kel made a joke about me as I entered the van, so I sat down on a folded and raised cushion on the seat in front of her, next to Jon, and raised my bag in front of me to jokingly block her view as she protested. Jon also joined me in the pose for some reason and we all laughed before I settled in properly.
- We then arrived at this concert venue, which was also a dinner table event. There were two firm mattresses in the shape of little benches lining the sides of our table for us to sit on. The four people at our table were me and Jon, with our backs to the stage, and Kel and another female friend of mine, who were facing the stage.
- At the half time intermission, the emcee up front was giving away tickets to something, and was reading out winner names randomly selected from a pool. Lisa, who was seated at another table, was in a group that won one of these tickets. I almost said hi to her as she joined the winners line as it snaked by near us, but I drew back. The female friend at our table asked me if I knew her, and I said yes, and that we went to McNally, my high school, together. But I hadn’t spoken to her in years and she didn’t know that I had transitioned yet.
- After the ticket giveaways, I waited behind with Jon as Kel and the other girl went off to buy dinner first. Jon rolled off the mattress bench and sat on the ground at one point, and I chided him for that, saying that the floor was dirty. For example I had been plucking off curly lint from Tigey and tossing it onto the ground where he was now seated, and I pointed out some of that was now stuck on his shorts. He complained that I should have used the nearby dustbin. I shrugged and said he shouldn’t sit on the floor in public spaces.
- I then went around walking briefly, looking for Lisa, and telling myself that if I saw her alone I’d flag her down and introduce myself. However, while I was looking for her, I also saw Jon wandering away from the table. I realized that we needed to wait until the other two returned from buying dinner before we could leave, since we needed to watch over the table and the possessions that we had left behind. I went to intercept Jon and we went back to our table together.
- Kel came back soon after with a huge round dinner plate. It had thick lettuce leaves and other veggies arranged around the outside and pointing to the middle as though it was a flower. I think there was also a burger and other food on it. She said she had bought it from a stall with a long queue in the neighbouring room.
- I was hoping to find some Chinese food so I left the event venue together with Jon to look for other stalls. Outside it was late evening, the sun had set by now and the remaining ambient light was faint. It looked like we were in a campground with buildings. There was a walkway from the door leading from our event venue, which passed by a door to an attached building where the salad stall was, and then continued on toward other buildings. I went exploring in this direction to try to find other food.
- Instead I passed by what a sign explained was an event penitentiary, with small locked rooms where misbehavers would be temporarily secured. There was a guy wearing a PE uniform and bloomer shorts in one of them, and he pantomimed a message out through the glass window on the door for me to pass along to his friends so that they’d know what happened to him. I nodded to him to indicate that I’d pass on his message.
- I walked onwards with Jon and met an event organizer lady that I was good friends with and who joined us in our walk. She had an attendant as well and we saw him in a room that we passed by, on his hands and knees, desperately looking for her. She exasperatedly told him that she was behind him and he stood up and joined us too. I was glad to have someone of high rank with us because I didn’t know the place well and was unsure if we were allowed to go wandering to look for other food places.

- I was watching someone make their way through a passage in a shopping mall-like area in a game scenariuo. I had been through this area before, so I knew that the passage the player waa on would eventually led to a four-way junction. The corridor between them and this junction contained several large and small T-Rex monsters, which I knew from personal experience were difficult fights, especially the large ones, but I soon learned from watching the player that a direct grenade into the vicinity of the dinosaur’s head area while the dinosaur was unaware would instantly one shot them. I noted that down for the future reference.
- The player approached the middle junction area but ran out of grenades before he actually reached there. There were still a pair of T-Rexs to defeat but he didn’t seem like he was going to try that. Instead, he ran by the remaining dinosaurs, only pausing briefly to grab a quest item off the ground, and then ran towards a small utility closet located in the middle of the room. He couldn’t open it to get inside of it though, but somehow or other managed to glitch underneath the ground, much to his surprise as mine, and so he stood underneath the utility box itself, beneath the ground, where the dinosaurs could not reach him.
- Snippet: Later on I remember a scene where I was reached a classroom early in the morning and went into that to practice playing some music or something similar to get ready for a meeting later on in the day. I tried to lock both the front and back doors of the classroom so no one would come by and disturb me. I remember also reading Discord chat at one point and seeing that Frotswa had shown me a picture of a monster that Declan had drawn for him and Kynji. This was a monster that Frotswa had introduced to Declan but that Declan’s kid imagination had expanded on to be larger and scarier, and Frotswa was impressed at that. Eventually, after I had gotten a significant amount of progress in to my task but before I had finished all of it, Mom wandered in through the front door and began doing stuff in the room as well, and I wasn’t sure if that was because she had a key to the classroom or if it was that I didn’t lock it properly in the first place.

- Snippet: I could travel between two places, a farm and a central hub area, by flying through the air. I met Zian at the central hub area and wanted to go travelling with her again from there, but she had found two other girls and they were practising singing from some musical sheets next to a fountain. I decided to leave them alone and return back to the farm where two guy friends were waiting for me.

- Snippet: I was connecting together room pieces to build a house like in Blue Prince, except instead of a random drafting process for the pieces, I had access to whichever ones I wanted to put down in front of me as I walked through the house. It was a social game to some degree as I remember talking to some people while building out the house layout, and also at least one of the pieces was newly added to the game but had strong negative reviews attached to it by the community for some reason that I could not fathom, as it looked like a perfectly reasonable piece to me.
